If black mirror was supposed to be a seriea about a generic robot apocalypse it would be good but i don t want black mirror to be a generic tech bad horror. If all of the episodes are connected then this one is very likely at the very end of the timeline for the real world and non cookie society. In the big twist of white.

I think the black and white drives home that its a machine world now. It s a story of survival and of sheer desperation. The smithereens ending is fittingly bleak for black mirror but especially resonant in today s culture. Now it was directed well with a good writing although some plotholes.
